5 new servers in three new locations were added to our VPN network in Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) and Secure Shell Protocol (SSH) are no longer supported. SSH & L2TP are reported to have security vulnerabilities.
Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) is slow, can easily be blocked by firewalls, and is reported to pose a security threat according to Edward Snowden and John Gilmore, one of the EFF founders.
Disconnect WASEL Pro
Close the application from the task bar
Go to Control Panel
Click View network status and tasks
Click Change adapter settings
Choose your current connection
Right click and choose Properties
Uncheck the option Internet Protocol Version 6
Click OK
Open WASEL Pro, connect and try again.
